Peer support is very beneficial for well-being as it helps to create supportive two way trusting relationships which in turn helps to reduce feelings of isolation while helping each other to feel valued. Your group can have a social, practical and / or emotional focus and can give you opportunities to develop your individual strengths, talents, skills and empathy. You will be encouraged to make decisions for and with your group so you have some control over how the group is shaped. If you’d like to know more about starting a women’s group, you are very welcome to come and join us for a cuppa and cake on: Thursday 19th September at 1pm at Canolfan y Bont, Dulais Road, Pontarddulais SA4 8PA For more information please get in touch with either: Richard Davies on: Richard.Davies1@swansea.gov.uk / 07900 702812 Or: Rónán Ruddy ronan.ruddy@swansea.gov.uk / 07471 145353 Or Rachel Marquess on: 07910180563 / rmarquess@swanseawa.org.uk
